Purpose & Strategy

PURPOSE

The Network of Christian Ministries purpose is to strengthen relationships between Christian ministry and churches who share a desire for the good of local churches, a love for the Word of God and the moving of the Holy Spirit, and a cry for revival and great harvest in our nation. And NCM purposes to serve the desire of every local church and ministry to increase in influence, effectiveness and fruitfulness.

COMMITMENT

The Network of Christian Ministries are committed to offering to it’s members and their associates, different events and opportunities for input and fellowship. The primary vision for these is to create situations where pastors and Christian leaders can come together and form dynamic relationships whilst receiving anointed ministry and participating in life-giving interaction.

CURRENT STRATEGY

In seeking to promote relatedness yet avoid unwarranted structure, NCM operates a strategy to strengthen ties among it's membership through a team of members, including a national itinerant representative,  who are active in making positive connection with their peers. We define a 'positive connection' as one that brings encouragement, shows genuine care and demonstrates a willingness to assist where ever needed.

In seeking to effect the ever increasing effectiveness of it’s member churches and ministries, NCM operates a strategy to regularly gather members for relevant input and ministry to pastors, etc, as well as offering to release experienced ministries to work with churches and ministries on an individual basis to effect positive progress at  the local level.

REPRESENTATIVES

Members representing NCM among the churches are accountable to the Leadership Team of the Network, and are required to report back to them regularly.

FOUNDING IDEALS

  1. The Network of Christian Ministries upholds the autonomy and sovereignty of the local church and ministry.
  2. The Network of Christian Ministries emphasise relationship over structure, and desire to promote an environment through it's events and services where ministers are building relationships with one another that will supply the positive things which the Bible declares benefit us when we are rightly connected to the body.
  3. The Network of Christian Ministries uphold the principle of freedom of association within and outside of NCM for all it's members. We are relationship encouragers!
  4. The Network of Christian Ministries has no 'rule book' for behaviour outside of the accepted principles of the Bible concerning love, humility, not seeking ones own, edification, care, morality, ethics and clear responses to moral and ethical lapse, etc.
  5. The Network of Christian Ministries receives the five-fold gifts of apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor and teacher as God's gifts to the church. In the context of a network of ministries, each gift has a unique contribution to make, and the experience and anointing of some uniquely qualifies them as 'ministers to ministers'.
